Since I'm going to study game development, I'm looking to buy a workstation PC for my projects(which is already too expensive). Hi! I'm going to be studying Interactive Media and Games MFA at the School of Cinematic Arts starting this August. Nonetheless, if Spanish is required for your major then definitely study so you can walk out feeling fine. I would say if I studied for it and prepared better, I would have been fairly confident with my answers more but it seems like prepping extra wasn't necessary for me. It's not necessary to take a foreign language in Marshall so I only took it because they give you two hours to do it at orientation and it lasts a year so I thought why not just in case. I took it a few years ago so maybe they changed it but yeah, I definitely did not think I did too hot but still got placed into the highest level. The conjugations weren't that bad if you are strongly familiar with them and I believe there were a good amount of fill in the blank with the best choice. I would say the listening prompts were difficult for me and the questions they ask you following a written prompt can be tricky. I took Spanish for three years in high school and touched future conjugations briefly. When I took my Spanish Placement Exam, it was all multiple choice and there were some listening prompts. You may not always get the classes at the times that you want, but I believe you'll get into most if not all of the classes that you need. They lock other students from registering for courses and open up a few seats just for transfers. I did attend orientation though, so I'm not sure if you'll benefit in the same way. I had initially chosen UCLA over USC's spring enrollment offer. I got an email from an advisor at USC the next day about a new major and I withdrew from UCLA that day. I was almost in tears from the frustration. I was so stressed out and ended up with a schedule entirely full of classes that I didn't want during UCLA's orientation. I had the unique experience of attending transfer orientation at UCLA and the two don't compare. I got into all of the classes that I had planned to enroll in. However, I found getting classes (as a transfer student) was amazingly simple. Your late registration date might put you at somewhat of a disadvantage.
